Doula For Aged Care
Doula in aged care is an emerging role sometimes referred to as Death Doula or End of Life Doula. Doula is a Greek word meaning "person of service".
​
The role of a Doula is a non-medical role providing support, resources and options to people living with a life limiting diagnosis, or those planning for, or approaching their end of life.
Services Available:

Phone consultation and Support

Family and "support team" assistance

Personal 1:1 and vigil presence for the person at the end of life

Coordination of service and care communicating with appropriate care teams in facility

Attending doctors appointments and Case Conferencing as support and advocacy for resident and family.

Support in arranging after death care, ceremony, support for family as requested

Bring "home" to where the person is ensuring the death is personal, and intimate according to the dying person's wishes.

As a transitional Doula Lynette can assist those moving from home care to aged care to settle and become more comfortable with their surrounds more quickly. A familiar face during that initial settling can help everyone to relax and know that person's needs are advocated and in place.

Doula Packages
Doula services are offered in packages although an hourly service is available upon request.

5 hour / 10 hour / 15 hour package prices are available upon request.

All packages will include services requested at the time of the written agreement and may vary according to individual needs. Further packages may be added as requested and as needs and circumstances change.

Learn BodyTalk With Lynette
Lynette’s particular passion lies in teaching and has often found herself in a mentoring role during her service as a nurse. She maintains a strong interest in expanding her knowledge and continues to study throughout her adult life. She loved teaching in nursing and is continuing that dedication in educating new BodyTalk practitioners. Those nursing roots are also the platform for Lynette’s current development work evolving BodyTalk into a program empowering carers in the community to look after themselves and those they are for.
Lynette is a Certified BodyTalk Instructor (CBI), Certified BodyTalk Access Trainer, Adv Certified BodyTalk Practitioner and PaRama BodyTalk Practitioner. These qualifications means Lynette has attained the high level of certification worldwide with The BodyTalk System as both a practitioner and instructor.
BodyTalk Fundamentals
Learn the foundations of the BodyTalk System
The BodyTalk Fundamentals course provides a comprehensive introduction to the BodyTalk SystemTM and presents many powerful consciousness-based healing techniques that address a wide variety of symptoms on all levels of the body and mind. This course presents discussions on both scientific and philosophical aspects of health, as well as a hands-on practical application of the BodyTalk Fundamentals techniques.
Willing Women
“We help woman speak, feel and trust”
Willing Women assists women to live a love based existence as opposed to a fear based existence. Women are challenged most days to walk their talk and live the message.
